ALERT -  FRAUDUELENT EMAIL.  A fraudulent email has surfaced with the subject line that states: "Unauthorized ACH Transaction." The e-mail includes a link that redirects the individual to a fake Web page and contains a link which is almost certainly an executable virus with malware. Do not click on the link. Both the e-mail and the related website are fraudulent.

As with any email you recieve, please remember:

  • Horizon, and any other legitimite financial company, will never request personal, confidential or bank account information within an email.
  • Never give out personal information based upon an email request
  • Never trust links in email; Look carefully at the web address; Type in www.accesshorizon.com to get to Horizon's web page
  • Don't open unexpected email attachments
  • Don't call numbers listed within an email, as left on a voice mail or as sent from instant messaging; always call the published number for the bank or the number published on your debit or credit card.
